"It All Started with Two Letters"
Lancoly was born from a creative spark during the early days of its founder’s journey as a graphic design student at the Faculty. One of the first assignments given to the class was to explore their potential as designers by creating a logo using their own initials.
For Creator, initials A and L came together in a simple sketch that he later visualized on clothing.
"From a Spark to a Vision"
That moment sparked a deeper curiosity not just about design, but about fashion as a form of self-expression. He began exploring the idea of building a brand that was both personal and powerful. The search for a name that aligned with his initials and captured the essence of the logo was long and often frustrating.
Most names were already taken. But then, one night at 4 AM, everything changed.
As he drifted to sleep with music playing in the background, he misheard a word in the lyrics it sounded like “Lancoly.”
It stuck. It had the initials. It had the energy. And most importantly, it felt right.
